Amazonite

Amazonite is a variety of Microcline, used for at least the past 4,000 years. Ancient civilizations including Egypt, India, and Mesopotamia used this stone. There was even a scarab ring made of Amazonite found in Tutankhamen' burial chamber. Amazonite is called "the peacemaker stone" due to its communicative abilities. This was an easy one for us, we felt it absolutely essential to have some peacemaker stone in this spring collection. It has been said that this stone aides in manifestation , helping to vocalize our desires. Usually associated with the throat and heart chakra and the planet Uranus.

This piece is 17" with gold bead details nested on either side of the Amazonite pendant. Half this piece is Japanese seed beads and it is clasped with a 14K gold lobster clasp.
